Our website, property of the sole proprietorship under the name “CHRISTINA KONTOVA”, hereinafter referred to as “ckontova”, offers its information and services under the present detailed terms of use. Each user is requested to read the following terms of use before using ckontova’s services. The user should not use the website, if he/she does not agree with said terms, but should communicate to us any comments, in order for the latter to be examined in the spirit of good faith and fair trade practices.   

 

1.         Introduction

Ckontova offers to the website’s users several information pertaining to the services it provides and their terms, as well as advertisements. It also allows the users to communicate with ckontova, by means of entering their personal details in a communication form, in order to submit their requests, complaints, views etc. All the existing services, as well as any new services that may be added to the website in the future, are governed by these terms of use.

 

2.         Terms of Registration & User’s Obligations

The user of the website is informed about all the services that ckontova provides and how the user may receive said services. If the user wishes to enter his/her personal details in the communication form, which is available via the website, in order to express a request, complaint, report etc., he/she should enter his/her true, full and current personal details, as required by the website, so as to receive a reply.

The user of the website’s services, fully and undeniably accepts that all the information/ services of the website are provided “as is” and ckontova bears no responsibility regarding the limited time, the accuracy of the information, the erasure, the poor operation, inability to electronically store user’s data, as well as any damage that may occur as result of the website’s use. The use of the website is governed by Greek Law, which is binding for each user, and the latter is obligated to comply with it. Furthermore, the user must use the website’s content and services according to the Greek legislation, the principles of morality and these terms and abstain from any action, which may offend other users or create problems to the proper operation of the website.

Furthermore, the user must be 18 years or above. In any other event, you should not access our website and use our services and, accordingly, ckontova bears no responsibility for said use. If you are the parent or guardian of a minor, who uses the website, you have full responsibility for said use, including any financial obligations arising therefrom.

 

3.         Limitation of ckontova’s Liability

Ckontova makes any possible effort to ensure that the website’s services are provided without interruption and free from any technical errors. Furthermore, ckontova has implemented all appropriate technical and organisational measures, which are required and which ckontova is obliged to implement under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, in order to secure the users’ personal data.

Nevertheless, ckontova is not liable in the event that, for any reason, including a case of negligence, the website’s operation is suspended or the access to the website becomes difficult or impossible or if, despite the implemented security measures, “viruses” or other malicious software is traced and transmitted to the users’ terminals or if third unauthorised persons (hackers) interfere with the content or the operation of the website and render its use difficult or create problems in its operation.

Ckontova reserves the exclusive right, which the user unconditionally accepts, to permanently or temporarily suspend the website’s operation with or without a prior notice to users.

 

4.         Exclusion Of Liability For The Provided Information

The content and the information, which is contained in the website and pertains to ckontova’s services, originate from ckontova. On the contrary, ckontova is not in any way liable for the content of the advertisements, which are posted on the website, or the communication of a user with third parties who are advertised on the website. Furthermore, ckontova is not liable for any matter that may arise, if a user enters into a commercial transaction of any nature with an advertised third party. The advertisements, which are posted on the website, cannot in any way be deemed as advice nor do they imply that ckontova encourages specific actions or the preference of a certain advertised product. Therefore, each user uses the provided services/information of the website on his/her own exclusive initiative.

We only collect personal data that concern you, if you opt to provide them to us by filling out the communication form and only in your own initiative, if you wish to submit a request, complaint, opinion, query etc. to us or by making a purchase from our e-shop. The aforementioned discount will no longer be valid in case you wish to replace the specific product which was purchased using the 10% discount, as well as in any subsequent purchase.

-          ATTIKI

Products are delivered by :

a) ACS Courier within 3 business days.

  • For orders over € 300.00, shipping is FREE.
  • For orders under € 300.00, the cost of shipping is € 3.00 (including 24% VAT).

or

b) Deliver Wow.

  • The cost of shipping for deliveries at the same day is € 6,00 (including 24% VAT).
  • The cost of shipping  for deliveries within 1 business day is € 3,50 (including 24% VAT).

 

-          THE REST OF GREECE

Products are delivered by ACS Courier within 3 business days.

  • For orders over € 300.00, shipping is FREE.
  • For orders under € 300.00, the cost of shipping is € 4.00 (including 24% VAT).

 

-          CYPRUS

Products are delivered by :

  • ACS Courier within 7 business days and the cost of shipping is € 8.00.
  • ACS Express within 2 business days and the cost of shipping is € 22.00.


 -         INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

European Union and rest of the countries: Products are delivered by UPS Standard within 3-5 business days and the cost of shipping is € 12.00 or UPS Express within 1-2 business days and the cost of shipping is € 22.00. In case UPS doesn’t deliver at particular country or region, products will be delivered using Greek Post. In this case the cost of shipping is €15.00.

The aforementioned shipping times are indicated to us by the courier companies we cooperate with.

In case your order has exceeded 300.00 euros you will be charged the initial shipping costs, which will be deducted from the refund.

Your orders are completed by us within a reasonable time. In case the delivery day is a bank holiday or national holiday, you will receive your order the next working day.

Ckontova reserves the right, depending on the destination of the products and market conditions, to deliver the products by using a different, in addition to the above, courier company for your own benefit.

 

9.         Return and Replacement Policy

 

RETURN

 

GREECE

In case you wish a refund, you may return the product to us within 14 calendar days since the date you received the product and then we proceed to the refund, either in the form of a credit note or in cash. Full refund will be made within 14 calendar days from the day we receive the product. The return of the product is free of charge provided that it is due to an error on our part. In every other case, the shipping cost will be borne by you.  In addition, in case your order has exceeded 300.00 euros you will be charged the initial shipping costs, which will be deducted from the refund.

The refund policy does not apply to products on offer or discount, to products of previous collections or to orders with credit notes or giftcards. In these cases, we may issue for you a credit note for our e-shop, which we will send to you in your e-mail. This credit note will be valid for a period of one year, since received it.


All the returns must be made by courier companies and delivered to our premises. We reserve the right to refuse returns sent by post.

The product is at your own risk until it reaches us. We recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods.

If you ship with ACS courier, you have the option to charge the shipping costs to our ACS code and we will deduct the amount from your refund. For more information, please contact us.


We will accept the return only if there is no damage or wear, and if the product is accompanied by its receipt of purchase.

 All the items are thoroughly inspected upon return to us.

If a product is returned in improper condition, it will not be accepted.

Please make sure that the products are properly packaged (not necessarily in the original packaging) and that they will not be damaged en route during shipping.

In order to return a product, you need to know the order number. We cannot process the transaction without this detail, so make sure that you have completed the “return form” and that you have included it in your return package. You can find the "return form" here.

We take no responsibility for any products returned to us by mistake.

We recommend you to retain your shipping/courier receipt until the return process is complete and receive an email from us stating that we have received your return shipment.

Returns are not accepted in the earrings and the thermos categories.

 

REPLACEMENT

You may replace a product for the same product in a different size or color or for any other product of any collection with the same or higher price. In case you wish to replace a product you may return the product to us within 14 calendar days from the initial receipt by you. The return of the product is free of charge provided that it is due to an error on our part. In every other case, the shipping cost will be borne by you.  You can only make two replacements per product.

Τhe 10% discount due to your subscribe in our website is valid just for your initial order. The aforementioned discount will not be calculated in case you wish to replace the product. In this case the replacement will be made without the discount, and it will be based on the initial price of the product you wish to replace.

ABROAD

In case of replacement of a product you need to contact with us and make a new order, before you return the product.

The policy of customs varies significantly from country to country. We recommend you to get informed regarding the taxes that will be charged in order to receive our products. Please note that customs duties may affect delivery time.

We would like to inform you that during bank holidays or national holidays in your country, deliveries might not take place. In such cases, we will receive your order the next business day.

For all other issues related to the return or replacement of products from foreign customers, the above policy of return and replacement of products from customers within Greece applies.

 

10.       Payments & Security

The various methods of payment available from ckontova for online purchases are the following:

  • Credit or debit card: charges are made using the Eurobank service.
    Accepted cards: Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
  • PayPal.
  • Bank deposit (Eurobank or Alpha Bank) (bank fees is chargeable to the customer).
  • Cash on delivery: full payment is made upon receipt of the merchandise. A fee of 2.00€ is added to the final amount of the exchange up to 499.00 €.
  • Cash.

Realizing the importance of ensuring the security of your online purchases, we have taken every precaution and all the necessary measures.

 

Privacy - Encryption

11.       Governing Law – Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Greek Law. The Courts of Athens, Greece shall have jurisdiction for the purpose of any dispute that may arise in connection with the operation and use of the website, if said dispute cannot be amicably resolved. Any dispute relating to the interpretation and the implementation of these terms and conditions, as well as any other matter in connection with the use of this website, shall be governed by Greek Law.

 

12.       Other Terms

The personal data protection is governed by the principles of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and the relevant national law that implements it.

In the event that any of the above terms is rendered incompatible to the legislation in force, it automatically becomes invalid, without in any way affecting the validity of the remaining terms.

Ckontova may enter into an agreement to assign its obligations to an appropriate third person. 

 

The foregoing terms constitute the entire agreement with ckontova, which reserves the right to amend or update or erase all the terms herein, without any notice. The amendment or review shall become effective after this document is updated regarding any change.
